We waited till after Christmas last year and got this for our son's 3rd birthday in March and I am still being greeted by Kota daily when I go upstairs for house work. Koda answers sounds with his roars. from Amazon.com My boys, ages 5 and 2, LOVE Kota. My 2 year old was scared at first, but now enjoys feeding and riding Kota. from Amazon.com my son is 18months, at first he was scare of kota but now loves it like a pet he feeds it and like to roars like it.i have to say i was very lucky i got it at target for $69.00.i no it was like $300.00 when it first came out so when i saw it for it for $69 i had to buy it how can u beat that. from Amazon.com So, when Kota first came out - he was WAY overpriced for being a stationary interactive toy.
