When my daughter was a toddler I got we got her one that was over 35 years ago. I so happy to find one for my grand daughter who loves it. from Amazon.com We bought this toy for my 2 year old and it's completely unusable. I'm thinking of calling the manufacturer. from Amazon.com the pegs and holes are varying sizes (some pegs work in all holes, some are too small for most of the holes but will work in one or two, some pegs won't fit in some holes but fit in others. Maddening!) I have one peg that's too narrow for all the holes that I put some tape around to increase the thickness. from Amazon.com This product is good for learning how to it things precisely. Maybe I got it too late for my son. He pretty much hit all the pegs through a couple times and now he's lost interest. My 2 year old is very active and we thought it be a good fit for him to take out some energy. from Amazon.com The pegs on this toy are longer then the legs so when they are hammered down they hit whatever the toy is resting on at the time. Did not work well with the coffee table as my granddaughter blasted away trying to drive the pegs all the way down. from Amazon.com
