it's definitely more protective than any other case.
while it won't help much in a major drop, the lrpu material (think hard memory foam) surely offers more protection from minor knocks than neoprene.
on campus, i just don't feel like lugging my computer case around everywhere and this sleeve just makes it so easy to transport.
i own the june 2009 unibody macbook pro and this case fits it perfectly.
i highly recommend this case if you are looking for a sleeve.
i had purchased this case to insert my unibody macbook pro before putting it in another bag or laptop.
i bought this case for my 15" macbook pro and it fits perfectly.
so after a month and a half of shopping, i've decided to go with the case logic reversible neoprene.
the stitching seems pretty durable.
i was looking for a sleeve to protect my macbook and this case logic sleeve fit the bill nicely at a reasonable price.
i purchased this as a protector for my laptop at home with the hope that it would easily slide into my messenger bag when i wanted to go on the road, but i found the case much larger than my computer
i used to hate to have to take my laptop out of a sleeve or laptop case, put it on something on my lap when i used it, and then put it back in the case to store it.
my laptop lives in this case.
there's nothing fancy about this notebook case.
after a tireless search of cases, sleeves, etc.
this case was perfect for the sony vaio laptop computer i just purchased (14.1 screen).
mobile edge 14.1' slipsuit is an attractive, well-designed, durable, protective cover for my sony vaio.
i carry my laptop in a tool case, so it was important to me that the sleeve fit the laptop like a glove.
i bought this case around a year ago for my toshiba 14.1" m115-s3094 laptop and it is a perfect fit!
theres even a barrier between the zipper and the laptop such that scratching is minimized when the case is zipped up.
i will be honest in that at first it felt hard but when i started using it, it is very light weight and stable....dont bother getting or comparing this to the ones with microbeads in them or soft
it's durable (my 2yr old jumps on it) a pillow just can't match up.
it has made my laptop computer a miniature office, complete with a back-up hard drive always connected.
note only does it have semi-hard surfaces for the laptop to sit on, which keeps the fan intake open allowing my laptop to cool itself, but both surfaces (both sides) have a very nice fabric covering
when i turn my laptop off and wish to set it aside, the inner pocket of the cushtop provides a handy place to store my powercord and external hard drive.
basically, it is like your standard laptop attache case - but converted into a backpack.
i originally went looking for a neoprene case for my laptop to make it easier to lug back and forth from work.
i strongly recommend this product.
it has a little hole to slip your headphones from in case you want to listen to music on the go.
if you don't have too many accesories for your laptop, this is a good, durable bag.
i also keep it in another carrying case which i would recommend to anyone who owns a laptop (mac or not)since a hard plastic cover will never help pad the computer in travel as soft sleeve/case would.
just put my cover on a little while ago, i like the way it looks, but it does show where the case touches the laptop and has dark marks that i can't make go away that are kind of annoying for anyone
the moment i received this product and my macbook (a day after), this case has been protecting my mac.
this product is a good solution to personalizing and protecting the delicate case of your white macbook.
i've had the speck hard case for about 6 weeks now and it has been working great.
yeah it is hard to get off, but it is so worth not having scratches on it.
it works well either as a sleeve without the strap (to be used in a luggage or other bag), or as a featherweight carrying case with the strap for when you're going to be out and using it for a short
the vertical design makes it very comfortable under your armpit, it is durable and surprisingly inexpensive, especially compared with the overpriced (some shockingly) cases that seem to be based on
enough room for the macbook air and the zippers are placed so that they won't scratch the case.
i have a built ny e-lt13-blk small laptop case (black)for those times when i need to pack more stuff, but it weighs more, and this should serve nicely most of the time.
again, just a simple case.
it was built with durable material and built-in padded laptop compartment provide extra protection to my laptop while traveling.
this is a nice caseplenty of pockets it doesnt scream laptop which is a bonus.
but it's still going strong.
color choices might also spice things up.other thoughts: i travel with my 17” laptop, and where a laptop case screams “steal me, laptop inside,” a backpack screams “socks and underwear.” nobody wants
it might not be an easy thing to work in with the zipper being there, but more would be helpful.other thoughts: i did a lot of research on notebook/laptop cases prior to the purchase.
the case works very well, and it is thoroughly padded fpr protection.
pretty decent laptop case.
i was looking for a compact case for my laptop which i would then carry inside a roll-on suitcase.
it has withstood many trips around the country as well as hard every day use and continues to look wonderful and perform way beyond my expectations.
i was looking for a rolling laptop case that was not too big to carry on the plane but could hold either my netbook or 15" laptop.
i have had this case for almost 3 months and i could not be happier with it.
quality case....smaller inside than expected, but still enough room.
i found the solo case on amazon.
this is my first laptop case, and it's great!
the ac adaptor makes the flap not lay straight and it has hardly any room @ all for papers.
it's not a problem.as some reviewers commented, you have to be careful when zipping up the computer section as the fit is quite tight and you don't want to scratch your new aluminum case.
i'm a laptop case snob and i'll spend hours, sometimes days, shopping for exactly the right back for each new laptop i buy (about one per year, sometimes more).
however, the durable targus locking-clip closure is the one feature that stands out, and makes this bag worth an extra $20 over the stm small alley cases and their velcro pads.
indeed it is a durable bag that meets my needs.
i was carrying so much equipment that it was hard to lift my backpack with one hand, but when i had it on my back, there was no problem.
next i think i will attach another tamrac accessory case for my ipod.
generally the materials are high quality, very durable, and the workmanship superb.
however, i need space for computer cords, business paperwork and a light change of clothes in case the airline lost my luggage.
i think the vertical pocket would accommodate a paperback novel (at least, a thin one) but it would be too shallow for a thick paperback and too short for a hardcover book.
i like to carry my laptop on a backpack rather than a shoulder-strap case because you can freely move, run and use both arms.
there is room for the power supply, a portable hard drive and a few others things, but it is not as bulky as the other packs i looked at.
there's a velvet like fabric where your laptop goes, a small bag for the power cord and the other compartments for other things like pens, cases and such isnt the scratchy fabric its also on the
- durable construction
reviewbetter than just a sleeve especially if you want a little more protection it is durable
it's more than a sleeve and less than a bulky brief case.
i expect to have this case for a while but will definitely look at some other swissgear slimcases when i'm ready for a change!
prosthis is a very attractive and light weight case and carries easily.
pros: this is light weight laptop case.
this case is smaller then it looks.
i like the accessory attachment points, which are handy for water bottles or big lens cases.
very well made; strong construction,
the velcro is also very strong, so you never have to worry about it coming loose.
i own a acer aspire 15" and a nikon d200 with 18-200 lens attach, it is very hard for me to put these 2 inside, the 2 straps in front is too short i have to pull it hard in order to buckle them, i
like some other reviewers, i was looking long and hard for a bag that i could carry my laptop and accessories in as well as my slr and accessories in and still be able to lug onto a plane as carry-on
cons: hard to fit pc notebook when battery grip is on and with an extra zoom lens.
extremely strong velcro on the flap.
in my old laptop bag, i had room for the computer, work files and note pads, a couple of magazines and maybe a hard cover book along with all my medication containers, my ipod and a bottle of $4
spacious, lots of pockets, and it came w/ a laptop protective case.
it's sturdy, durable so far and just the right size..............i would strongly suggest it.
this attache is a well manufactured, minimalist case.
