there isn't a lot of depth---they really mean it when they say "slim"---and there isn't any good place to stick a water bottle unless you don't have the laptop in the bag.

the only thing i wish i could do with this bag is have a sleeve for a water bottle, but that's a small thing that most don't even use.

not all bags are perfect and not all people want the same thing, so here is my only personal complaint - i wish there was a water bottle holder on the side so i can keep my drinks.

it's not heavy duty, may or may not be waterproof and has only medium duty shoulder straps, but it does hold a laptop, slim binder, power source, pens, glasses, gloves, etc.
