not only does it look great, it has many pockets on the inside and outside and has a good amount of padding to protect your laptop.
there are 2 outside zippered compartments - 1 where you can hold your mp3 player (with a hole to feed headphones through) and a thin textbook (mine is 9.5" x 7").
i would have prefered if the texture and look of the outside of the bag was as displayed, but the inside of the bag made up for that.
oddly, the outside has one large zippered pocket that does not go through the inside of the case at all.
additional thoughtsi can't decide whether or not to keep it because it looks nice on the outside but it doesn't hold much on the inside.
the handle seems like a comfortable way to carry the bag, but there is also a built-in shoulder strap that stores nicely in an outside pocket.

in general, they do a great job with the main compartment, but could do with some design improvements for the outside pockets and auxiliary storage spaces.

i was looking every where for a notebook sleeve with an outside pocket(for my power cord and a few other small things) that fit my notebook.

i saw a review of this product in macworld and thought i'd give it a try to protect the outside of my brand new mac.
(just be sure you give the inside of it and the outside of your laptop a good wipedown with a lint-free cloth before you put it on, or you'll be able to see lint through it.) i can't say enough good
it really does protect your mac from scratches, spills and everything really that can happen to the outside of the case.
the outside of the case gets scuffed up fairly easily, but that doesn't bother me.
grant it, i dropped my macbook outside on the ground and this case protected it, but overall it's not worth it.

- the case is basically 2-3mm (millimeter) thick and cover almost all the outside of the laptop.
overall, the product mostly gets the job done--there are scratches all over the outside of my case that remind me just how much it has saved the actual laptop.
