i use it to carry around my 17 inch laptop in the main pocket, my smaller 15.4 inch laptop in the 2nd pocket with all power cables and 2 external hard drives.

the zippers glide freely, my laptop(one the biggest 17in) fits easily with room, and then the pack hold even more of my books.
