When I first purchased my 15" MacBook Pro, I wanted to protect my investment, like many of you...so, I went to the Apple Store and purchased a Red 15" Speck See Thru Hard Case... When I got it home and installed it, each time I lifted the cover, the bottom of the protective case was pushed off by the top piece, because it did not fit correctly... from Amazon.com DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE IF YOU HAVE A MACBOOK PRO MADE IN THE PAST COUPLE YEARS. I was not aware of this when I searched " macbook pro case 15"" which is the aluminum model that most people have. from Amazon.com This case was exactly as promised with one major exception, it didn't come close to fitting my new 15" macbook pro (purchased 7/09).
