it is a specialty product so i guess the audience is small and thus the high cost. from Amazon.com as wide as i'd like, i haven't noticed any scratches on my computer as a result of the product, my computer does not squeak when i open it, and the cover is easy to remove with a little patience. from Amazon.com the only thing bothers me with this product is that once you put it in on your mac, it is difficult to remove it. from Amazon.com i also keep it in another carrying case which i would recommend to anyone who owns a laptop (mac or not)since a hard plastic cover will never help pad the computer in travel as soft sleeve/case would. from Amazon.com just put my cover on a little while ago, i like the way it looks, but it does show where the case touches the laptop and has dark marks that i can't make go away that are kind of annoying for anyone from Amazon.com there is a little white scratch on my laptop, but i'm thinking it could be a piece of paper towel instead. from Amazon.com the cover protects my laptop from scratches and little dings and it looks cooler than just the white cover! from Amazon.com i think this cover looks amazing and really protects from everyday scratches and stains, but i did drop my laptop just a few feet on carpet with it and it didn't protect it from a few hundred dollars from Amazon.com the added protection is great when you're travelling and they make you take your laptop out of its case and drop it in a bin. from Amazon.com this product is a good solution to personalizing and protecting the delicate case of your white macbook. from Amazon.com
