before if i wanted to print from the pc that was not connected to the printer the other pc had to be on for me to be able to send the print job thru the network and be printed.

plus, it's got no noticeable lag, so it seems its good for the avid gamer (though i suspect that the so-called "hardcore gamers" will shun it like they have wireless mice, and standard network cards.
