Best KVM Switches for Server

i use it for my server and for doing work on other computers.

other thoughts: if trying to use with synergy and having trouble, make sure you play around with which computer is the server, and which is the client.

i set up a dandy little network with a p3 as my printer server and to do other little tasks.

pros: i use one in the office for a dual tower repair station and one in the home because i have a windows box and a linux server taht i peer at here and there.

i have some new servers and the usb works fine on them.

pros: works well easy to install inexpensive cons: switching is a little sluggish other thoughts: bought and installed this to manage 6 servers in a rack.

handles win2k3 server, win2k-pro and winxp with no issues.

i ended up plugging it only when i know i am going to work the whole day between my pc and my server, otherwise the lags become very annoying after a while

other thoughts: good kvm switch if you're running low res or just need something for a couple servers.

other thoughts: there is no problem with the computer running server 2003, it still will read thumb drives with the generic hub.

cons: none other thoughts: nothing big but when i used it with win server 2003 i would get a "error loading driver" pop-up when booting, but it would still work fine

i have a windows xp pc and a linux server connected to it.

i bought this kvm switch to work with my computers 1 having windows xp and the other having windows server 2008.

this may be great if you're in a very small office and have two servers side-by-side, or are running cli systems, but there's no way i'd buy this again.
