Works just as advertised! I have 2 PCs and a Mac connected to this device, and although I am not using the video switching, the USB and PS/2 switching works beautifully! Switching between machines is super easy, and the USB ports on the front allow for convenient access. Also, the rubber sides keep the unit in place very nicely! from Compusa.com This was the perfect match. It offers a keystoke sequence to switch PC's, and offers options there (SCROLL-SCROLL up/down works, or you can use SCROLL-SCROLL 1/2/3/4 to go direct to the appropriate PC). Caveat: If you want the hotkeys to work, you must use a PS2 keyboard (I have a USB keyboard connected to the PS2 port via a PS2 adapter, and it works fine). A keyboard attached directly to one of the three USB ports will NOT be able to control the device via the hotkeys per the manual. from Compusa.com I had problems with DLink (D-Link DKVM-4K)...what a brick, which was returned. A little extra this one gives me no problems, everything is behind and neat, very enjoyable to use. I have my USB mouse plugged in the PS2 port in back. This way the USB hub is free for my peripherals & the switching is when I want for those (stay away from auto switching, this may cause data loss if your USB devices are running when the switching happens). from Compusa.com This KVM switch is awesome, excellent price for a 4-port with cables included. But it works fine and I don't have to time to RMA it and I don't really want to take it apart and voice any warranty. Other Thoughts: I upgraded from a 2 port IO Gear that used a double tap of the Scroll Lock button to switch back and forth.
