The hook up was easly done and only had one issue which was the fact I did not have any video. The reason was I needed a DVI to DVI video cable, which was the only cable I had to buy. Once I hooked that up, everything was running great! from Compusa.com NEVER experienced reset problems! Fast switching without lagging! Flawlessly supports high resolutions (2560x1600). I took the chance and I am glad to report that every single features of my keyboard and mouse work. I hook every things through a USB 2.0 hub which is then connected to the KVM/USB switch. With one button, all my USB peripherals (keyboard, mouse, printer, scanner, tablet, web cam, etc.) switches between two PCs. from Amazon.com If I plug the mouse into the mouse port on the KVM it doesn't function correctly. The X5 is a high resolution gaming mouse so I assume that's the problem. If I use the provided USB port on the KVM it works fine. The second problem is the MiniViewDVI appears to "remember" the resolution of the computers attached. from Amazon.com Cons: The price is a bit high in my opinion. Having to hold the switch button down for an extended amount of time is a bit annoying.
