This cable is a great way to connect two dvi PCs to one DVI monitor. The switching button is a nice feature. I connected a DVI to HDMI cable to the monitor side of the cable and used a HDMI monitor. The keyboard switching allows you to play music from one PC while viewing the other PC. from Compusa.com Pros: Small package, nice connections, easy to use. This product is somewhat affordable. from Newegg.com I purchased this about a month ago. I have a new Gateway Computer with Vista 64 bit and an older HP with XP. The only quirks I have noticed is that the 2nd computer (the older XP) has some issues when I switch between computers...that is, the video card on the XP will resize the display settings. from Amazon.com This works fine with a MacMini and PowerMac G5 sharing mouse, keyboard and monitor. First, and most important, is that one must plug the mouse and keyboard in separately, rather than daisy chaining the mouse into my keyboard's pair of USB sockets. I'll re-review if I get it working. Cons: If you have a VGA unit, a simple DVI to VGA converter will not work.
