Overall I am pleased with this KVM switch. I use it with Mac, XP and Vista.
The unit works well as long as you use a PS2 mouse and keyboard. I believe that the unit I received is defective but can't return it as it's installed at a remote client now.
I've used several brands of usb and ps/2 kvms and the Cables to Go/Trulink is the most reliable for pcs and macs. My current setup is a mac mini, dell precision T7400, dell gx520, and a dell latitude d630.
I have owned this KVM switch for about 8 months or so. I thought this would be a good KVM switch. Came with cables, supports audio and PS/2 (on input, at least), which is getting harder and harder to find.
Pros: Works well, built well, had audio, USB hub, HW/SW switching options. you can easily switch everything, or just KVM without USB.
Pros: I've had the KVM for almost a month now and I love it. It is superb!!!
I have owned 2 Trendnet KVM's. One is the Tk 403KR which is supposed to support my wireless mouse. NO WAY.
Pros: Good working KVM switch. Runs all four computers no problem.
Pros: nice heavy switch box. Great that it comes with cables. Layout of controls is excelent.
Works exactly as advertised. Consolidated 2 displays, keyboards, etc., and two other RDP controlled systems with a lot of deskspace returned. Handles Win2k3 Server, Win2k-Pro and WinXP with no issues.
