I bought this switch in hopes it would eliminate the hassle of plugging and unplugging different devices into my TV. Instead of working as described the switch causes both my DVR and DVD player to display the great fuzz after briefly producing a non-HDCP compliant message. Let me say, the switch is well designed and if it worked with all HDMI equipment it would be a great product - but it doesn't. I ended up going to the a local store and finding a manual switch for $27.00 dollars that works perfectly - except of course you have to manually switch between devices. from Buy.com Does what it's meant to do. Product worked right out of the box; easy setup plug and play. Makes a neater connection without all the cables. There is a slight delay when switching from my TV to my Blu-ray player but I have not experienced the continuous automatic switching between sources that others refer to. from Buy.com This HDMI switch was very easy to install and works great. After connecting to Scientific Atlantic Cable Box and Sony Playstation, blue light kept blinking on/off and blanking out TV screen. After some technical support, they said that DVR's send a constant signal and don't allow it to switch automatically.
