Use between desktop XP and laptop dual boot (Vista/openSUSE). Saw cheaper KVMs but I've been happy with IOGear in the past and wanted to stay with them. from Buy.com Pros: Works great, very easy to install and configure. The manual that comes with this product is very intuitive and well written. I also like that this model switches very fast (under a second in my experience). Highly recommended. from Newegg.com I have used many different kvm switches at different jobs and have never had a problem. I then purchased the iogear kvm for my home computers. from Amazon.com I just ordered another and I'll just keep this for a spare. I didn't list this as a con because had I actually read the description before buying I would have bought some other model. I just ordered a "IOGEAR GCS632U" that I think I will be happier with. This time I did a little reading. from Newegg.com I found this switch to be adequate for my need of using a single monitor, keyboard and mouse for two computers. It is quick to switch, and is not 'fickle' like the previous Belkin switch I owned. from Amazon.com I own another IOGEAR KVM, the one with PS2 ports and works great so i have no doubt about this one. Works perfectly as expected. from Amazon.com Pros: I used the PS/2 version of this switch with my older PC for a number of years and it was always spot-on. Recently I got a new PC which doesn't have PS/2 ports, so it was necessary to give this a shot. from Newegg.com I purchased one locally, lasted 6 months, now they keyboard input is dead. It died 10 keystrokes after I connected a Lycosa keyboard. I was using another power hungry keyboard before, so I don't know if that is what caused the failure. I temporarily replaced it with an Airlink, big mistake, that Airlink KVM is one of the worst products I have ever used. from Amazon.com Pros: Well it works well at what is says it does. Switches between my PC and Xbox 360 nicely. Cons: I'm a gamer so naturally I use a gaming keyboard. This KVM switch does not recognize USB input. from Newegg.com My second IOGear KVM.
