i used a bytecc ps/2 to usb converter to change the two ps/2 outputs from the kvm to usb for the linux box, and it worked fine. from Newegg.com i use a 21" lcd at 1600x1200 resolution and the kvm functions perfectly. from Newegg.com i have been using it with a samsung 213t monitor running at 1600x1200. from Newegg.com it was also quick and easy to set up, and it is great that all of the necessary hardware (cables, etc.,) are included. from Newegg.com i was concerned about the resolution, but went up to 1920x1200 for my 24" flat screen. from Newegg.com the monitor is a 22 inch wide screen lcd hi-def. from Newegg.com there is some noise/snow on my monitors (but i am operating above the rated resolution of 1600x1200. from Newegg.com my config: (1) dvi-d monitor, (2) linux w/dvi-d graphics, (3) linux w/dvi-i graphics. from Newegg.com my only caveat is to make sure you won't be going any higher than a 1600x1200 display. from Newegg.com my keyboard is corded usb plugged into a usb to ps2 adapter, then to switchbox. from Newegg.com
