It works... but badly. perhaps it is something to do with my computer, but my previous 2 port-kvm worked perfectly. This device, by comparison, is slow and unreliable. from Tigerdirect.com This is a must have for your multiple computer use person. Comes with simple yet somewhat hard to understand instructions for ease of switching between computers. I have heard from other viewers the sound crackles on theirs but I have not experienced that problem. from Buy.com When plugged into one of my computers USB ports, this device slows the computer to about 5%. I worked around it by connecting both USB lines to the second computer, since I wasn't going to use the keyboard and mouse portion of the device, just the video switching AND since the second computer had always on USB ports. from Buy.com I used to own a Trendnet 2port USB KVM Switch.. which I outgrew since I had 3 PCs. from Buy.com Can't really ask for anything fancy. My first was a cheap Vastech PS/2 that I purchased many years ago which I eventually outgrew as my monitor and preferred display resolution got bigger. from Amazon.com Pros: Works with my new USB keyboard and mouse. Cons: The first thing I noticed when I hooked up the new KVM is the video quality was awful compared to the PS/2 version. from Newegg.com
