My main critera in my search for a KVM was price and support of USB keyboard and mouse. This led me to the TK-409K (found on wwww.froogle.com). from Buy.com I am using this on my new Dell, old Dell, Linux and my G4 Apple and the TK-409 has simply made my life so much easier because I need all 4 computers frequently. It didn't first work for my old Dell and my Linux box but that's because a USB keyboard and mouse was never connected to those boxes, so they expected a PS/2 key/mouse, these are old machines. from Buy.com the kvm cables only have 1 usb connector on them and i wasn't sure how that was going to work, but it worked flawlessly. from Buy.com otherwise, it don't remember the screen resolution setting. from Buy.com my main critera in my search for a kvm was price and support of usb keyboard and mouse. from Buy.com after a couple of weeks with the trendnet 4 port usb kvm, i am quite happy. from Buy.com this seems to be one of the least expesnive 4-port usb kvm. from Buy.com it didn't first work for my old dell and my linux box but that's because a usb keyboard and mouse was never connected to those boxes, so they expected a ps/2 key/mouse, these are old machines. from Buy.com the monitor and usb cables are combined into a single connector at one end, so don't lose the ones that came with the switch. from Buy.com the switch was easy to set up and use. from Buy.com
