This Broil King Electric burner is exactly what I had been looking for. I am using it for a special purpose smoking oven, and it has more than met my needs and expectations. from Cooking.com The electric range is so convenient and efficient in it's design. We used it recently on vacation to cook outside of our travel trailer. from Amazon.com it heats up very quickly and does a good job of simmering. from Cooking.com german made. from Cooking.com heavy duty, well built, made for some serious cooking. from Cooking.com wish the light would stay on at all times not just when heating up to reach set temperature. from Cooking.com wasn't able to get stove and this definelty did job! from Cooking.com it warms up very quickly, and cools off more gently. from Amazon.com if you're used to cooking with gas, this will be a shock because it's cast iron and holds the heat. from Amazon.com it heats quickly and thoroughly, enough to fry eggs or deep fry french fries, after just a few moments of warm-up time. from Amazon.com
