I realize all this could have been avoided by having another set of keys above the normal F-keys like so many "multi-media" giganto keyboards, but this way the keyboard remains compact and the keys I want are closer.

haven't checked to see if they multi-media keys work; couldn't care less if they do or not.the backspace and tab keys are a little smaller than most users would be used to, but that's ok.
