I bought this mouse the same day I recently bought a new HP Pavilion DV7-1130US 17-Inch Laptop (2GHz AMD Turion X2 RM-70 Dual-Core Mobile Processor, 4 GB RAM, 250 GB Hard Drive, DVD Drive, Vista Premium) and LOVE it! I use an older computer desk with the pull-out tray underneath the main part for the keyboard and I like that I can put the mouse on the tray and sit a bit further away from the screen, I hope reducing my eye strain a bit. from Amazon.com This never worked on my computer. I returned it. Couldn't find anything on the microsoft site that would help me troubleshoot. Oh, and the fact that the usb stick connects and caddys onto the bottom of the mouse is very cool.
