I am very pleased with the construction. It is thin so it doesn't stick up off the desk like a traditional keyboard. from Dell.com The backlight is adjustable through three levels and lighting and then off. I'm old enough to remember the excitement when Windows 3.1 was a new OS, so I've used a lot of keyboards over the years! In short, this Logitech is the most satisfying keyboard I have ever owned.
