This optical mouse is well-shaped for the hand, right or left, simple (no confusing extra buttons that are seldom used anyway), plug-and-play with your computer (no software to load), and well priced. A quality product at a low price.

Overall, this is a basic mouse that will serve your needs. Sensitivity is great, installation couldn't be easier on Vista (just plug in), scroll wheel works well, includes adapter for PS/2, all at a good budget price.

The tilting wheel on this mouse rocks!
Using the Logitech sofware, I set my wheel up so that pushing it to the left goes back a web page, and pushing it to the right goes forward a web page.

This is Brief and review on a moms perspective. Yes after numerious droops on hardwood floors it is still going strong, My daughter somehow manages to drop this everyfew days and it is still working last mouse broke after about 10 drops we are at like 30 and it still works. Please don't forget the mousepad, works much better on one, mines mysteriously disappeared.

After so long with working with a roller-ball mouse, this thing is heaven. No worries about cleaning off the ball and inside of the mouse, and smooth gliding, you get more movement/response from the arrow on the screen than with a old-style mouse.

Was going through regular ball type mice (mouses?) like once every two months due to cat hair, dust, and such. Tried cleaning them with those compressed air cans and pulling it out manually but still had to keep replacing them as the computer is in constant use.
