But it's also only $35. There are a LOT of gaming keyboards out there that are better, but also much more expensive. The others I was looking at started at almost twice what I paid for the Eclipse, and went up from there. And the Eclipse just plain works. from Amazon.com Unfortunately, within about a month one of the keys (A) had the paint so worn off as to be unreadable. This has since spread to 5 other keys, making it a mess to look at, and making the backlight worthless. Contacted the parent company (Saitek in the UK), who referred me to their US counterpart, Madkatz. I've contacted them three times for either replacement keys or a replacement keyboard, to no avail. from Amazon.com Pros: a reasonably priced illuminating keyboard, great key response, and an very comfortable. My Dell SK-8135 is a much better keyboard in terms of feel (I can type much more reliably on it than on this Saitek). Other wise we are very happy with this unit. Other Thoughts: I would recommend that Saitek redesign this board to boot up with the light feature off. from Newegg.com Pros: The keys are well spaced and I've encountered no problems as of yet. In spite of being adequate enough at typing to not have to look at the keyboard, the keys are illuminated from below with a nice blue light, which I find if nothing else "cool". I had heard that the blue version was better and would be subject to less wear and tear than the red, so I got the blue :). from Newegg.com Pros: Purchased this keyboard in Red (which is no longer available PZ30AUR) Keyboard has nice action which I find the keys much softer then the Logitech I previous owned.
