it's black color means that it will maintain is new look much longer than the standard white apple keyboards.

it works great, though sometimes i accidentally hit the caps-lock key and don't notice it for a few minutes, but otherwise it's a great inexpensive replacement for that apple crumb-catcher white

i should also point out that i am using this keyboard with windows vista, even though it is suppose to be a mac keyboard.

the icekey is flat like a laptop keyboard and can be raised in the back on two feet, rather than being curved like the apple.
