this product does everything it claims.
this is also a great product because the remaining pulp is dry, not wet, which means it does extract all the juice from fruits and veggies.
when cleaning the waring, you had pulp caked up within the machine itself and it was a pain to clean it out, partially becaused it had a higher moisture content but also simply because of all of the
years ago, we had a braun juicer, and used it all the time.
i used to own a more expensive juicer but cleaning it was such a pain i stopped juicing and gave it away.
it also has a built in strainer when pouring.all in all - excellent product for the price.
i love everything about the juicer except 2 things: having to peel citrus fruits and some juice leaks out and i am concerned it can get inside parts that should not be wet.
over all it is a great juicer for a small family.
the juicer works great - it definitely has enough power to juice all fruits & veggies that we have tried - including yams!
it's a real shame that when we plan to purchase a juicer, there isn't a store that has all the major models and brands lined up for comparison.
the bottom line: solid, quality product - well built, heavy, durable and can do exactly what it's supposed to: juice the juice outta everything in the fridge.
overall i really hesitated about spending so much on a juicer, but in all honesty it is really worth the extra money you spend.
thoughts are that a blender would make use of all the product but then again if it's juice that you want.......have purchased 4 machines through amazon within the last 2-months for myself and health
first of all i did not buy my juicer from amazon, but i had to review this excellent product.
the first time i have purchased a juicer so i don't have anything to compare it to, but i think it does a fairly good job of extracting the majority of the juice from fruit and veggies, if not all.
if i were to do it all again, i would only buy the omega 8005 juicer.
i have been using this juicer for several weeks and have to say that it does a great job of juicing a wide variety of fruits, veggies, and grasses.
but then i got a nice book on juicing, and took their challenge for a beginner's week- it covered fruits, vegetables, and leafy greens.
i think the last reviewer might have gotten the juicer without all the parts- the juicer has a plastic plunger to push the vegetables down the tube.
the juicer juices pretty much everything no problem.
all in all, i am thrilled with this great juicer, and i highly reccomend it to all.
i got this juicer because it was the least expensive one and the reviews were all good.

cons: has problems extracting garlic, extra pulp remains in juice, poor quality seal around juicing bowl
all of the reviews were precisely accurate for this juicer.
firstly, i love this juicer as it is so multi-purpose and does everything, from oranges to collards to wheatgrass thoroughly and easily.
i am very happy with all aspects of this product.
it handles all of these beautifully.
this is a terrific juicer at a great price - works great for all kinds of veggies, especially leafy greens.
i've had my juicer over 1 yr & over all i'm pleased with the units performancean easy clean up tip is to soak the washable parts in bleach/water for 30~60 min this eliminates having to use elbow
the juicer is just great, it has allot of power i can insert 3 medium carrots at the sametime with no issue, and i gett allot of juice for them.
though i do not have anything to compare it to, but maybe there are juicers out there that would produce a drier pulp.all in all, i have enjoyed this juicer so far.
if you're looking to try juicing this is a great product to start with.
i couldnt wait to try it and so i opened the huge box and assembled everything, its very simple!
it is simple to use, doesn't juice everything my old juicer would juice, but it seems to be a good product based on my experience with this type of product.
this product overall is great, a pain to make juice, pull apart and then clean, however to make a healthy drink without all the added sugar and preservatives that most packaged juices have it is well
i love the fact that i don't have to cut everything up into small pieces before putting it in the juicer!the only disappointment i have is that there is way more pulp than it showed on tv.
given all the above, i think this juicer is great for it's cost and i look forward to finding the right combo of juices to drink.
i purchased this juicer from walmart 3 years ago and we use it all the time.
but it's fun to mash everything in there and crank it up and give that arm a workout!
my personal favorite is to put something under the container to raise it up a bit, allowing it to slide "out of range." complaining about that seems to me about as petty as complaining you need an
the juicer is all built of solid materials - the plastic parts are not cheesy and should last as long as the metal parts if treated like kitchenware.
i do not mind turning the handle at all.
i haven't tried juicing those yet, since i don't have any on hand, but this machine sucks at juicing mangos and strawberries.
it handled all the items with ease and was very easy to clean.
i'm ok with the weight (the juicer has its own space on the counter) and with the noise (my blender is noisier).when pureeing something too juicy, part of the juice is coming out through the juicing
perhaps this is typical of all juicers.
a friend's parents fell in love with frozen banana & pineapple smoothies that they had in hawaii, and noted that the champion juicer was all that was used in making this favored treat.

it took another 7 minutes to clean it and such - which is not bad at all!
this is a excellent juicer, its easy to use & clean and best of all its made with pride in the usa.
as other reviews of mine have stated, i've been juicing three decades, with an acme and a champion, both of about 20 years' service, being my main juicers.
size isn't everything!
i purchased this product after reading all of your reviews.
has handled everything i threw at it.
this is our first juicer but we have purchased the waring brand before and find all their quality excellent.

the unti is not loud at all, so i do not understand other folks complaining it is too loud.
this did everything that the websites and consumer reports said it would.

with the green star, my juice is always the same temperature as my produce, so i know i'm getting all of the goodness my produce has to offer.
pros: very effective at juicing vegetables, including leafy vegetables.
cons: too much machine for occasional juicing.
please note, however, that the manual says not to use it for more than 4 minutes at a time, and that it needs 2 minutes of rest after 4 minutes of continuous juicing.
this little guy does everything i need it to, for a mere $18 here on amazon, i can't imagine getting a better deal.
-it has a strainer to catch all the large pulp and pits
it leaves pulp, good for all of us.
i read the reviews on a half-dozen under-$40 juicers, and after all the talk of wattage and comparing strainers i just gotta say: any one of these juicers is better than not having this much fun for
