it absolutely cannot juice things like citrus, tomatoes, and even most apples will cause it to clog up quickly.

i juice a big batch of "green lemonade" (see natalia rose the raw food detox diet) about twice a week and make other drinks when desired.

the green star is tough as nails, produces more juice volume than pulp volume, and the quality of the juice is phenomenal.

it was much cheaper than the norwalk juicer and probably a lot easier to clean with less steps involved in juicing, although the pulp was not as dry as it could be.

as someone mentioned the pulp did tend to fall into the juice, but all i had to do to remedy that was use a taller container to catch the pulp as it came out.

a tall glass works much better for catching pulp than the container it comes with.

but i've found that i get a decent return on oranges.

the juiceman juice was smoother and had a whipped texture, but the z-star made more and all the pulp was bone dry.

however, it takes much longer than "three minutes" to clean the machine...for starters, i have to spend fifteen minutes removing pulp from the juicing screen so that pulp doesn't build up and prevent

the pulp came out very dry and then for the best part...i had this thing taken apart washed and ready to go again in 3 minutes.

the pulp seemed too wet.

pros: great customer service, quiet running motor cons: same parts keep breaking, not very dry pulp/ not enough juice
