love this iron, it's light and powerful.
it is light, but has enough weight to iron great!

even though it says that it has auto-shut off, for some reason even when i shut it off manually the light on the unit remains on and the iron is still hot...it is just me or did anyone else
the one thing i must point out is if you are looking for a lightweight iron, this is not it.
is housed neatly in cord reel; removable water tank which makes filling really convenient; stainless steel soleplate which is much smoother than so-called non-stick plates; it is reasonably light.
the iron is the right weight (it has some heft but isn't too heavy; or worse, too light).
it is lightweight and a great buy for the money.
it's not exactly light weight, hence this could be its main con; however, i personally like substantial irons, kind of getting a feeling of heaviness while ironing.
this panasonic is really wonderful, lots fo steam, light weight, i love the removeable water tank and cord reel and it has a long cord.
