i like the product and the features very much but as i read in other reviews you must be careful with the water fill cover as it feels flimsy.
it's the first iron out of the last 4 i've purchased that doesn't leak water.
the iron heats up quickly, reheats quickly from auto-off, and it doesn't leak water like every other iron i've ever used (even the rowentas).
the iron glides effortlessly over fabrics and busts wrinkles immediately.it has an easily viewed water level for steam and the steam output is great.
only thing is the cover for the water holding area it is a bit feeble, apart from this i would recommend this iron.
it also has a removable water reservoir so you don't have to pour water all over the iron.
filled the iron with water, plugged it in, set the temp to high, and 2 minutes or so later was ready to go.
the steam pressure is surprisingly strong although the water capacity is not large.
i love the easy to fill water tank!
the steam function works really well and i think the detachable water holder thing is brilliant.
this one is the best.plenty of steam and does creases in pants in one pass.easiest to fill with water as it has a large inlet.
this iron uses alot of water but not distilled and that's ok by me as the steam is wonderful and the secret to the success of this iron.
it hasn't leaked water like my old iron.
the black & decker iron i used was also good but it was heavy when filled with water.
it comes with a plastic measuring cup to fill the iron with water and it then there's a little door that shuts to keep the water inside.
being able to remove the water refill container is very handy.
lightweight, easy to fill removable water tank.
i do not enjoy ironing, but i must say it is easier now.i really like the enclosed reservoir for the steam(water doesn't spill out when iron is turned over)and the choice of bottom steam vs spray in
my only complaint is that if you are doing a big load or ironing and you need to refill the water container the iron must stay flat on your ironing board in order to fill the container.
it puts out clouds of steam with ordinary tap water.
steams good with no dripping or water leakage.
- refilling water is easy.
forget hauling out the ironing board, distilled water and the iron.
and i lost the water thingy that came with it to fill it up.
i love the little cap where the water goes in.
it's easy to refill the water resevoir.
the first impressions iron is a dream to use when sewing --- the iron has a large water compartment which means lots of steam.
my only problem is with the water tank.
summary: this iron is magical.removes wrinkles in one time,so it saves time.it has powerful steam bursts.don't need to fill water again and again.
it doesn't tip over easily, leak water, or spit steam, like my other irons have.
i like this iron.....the water tank is great, (holds alot).....i also like the way it heats up so quickly.
he really likes the weight of the iron when it's full of water.
i like the extra large water resivor, and while this iron is on the heavy side, i got used to it quickly.
the iron feels balanced and handles well; the boiler needs infrequent refilling, is well-designed, with low-water light, and arial holder to keep steam tubing out of the way.
oh, and a low-water idiot light.
the water tank is a little small for this type of iron, you'll need to fill it up everyday (although we do use it 2-3 times in the mornings).it's a great iron that performs exactly as expected!
i think it was because i was using only distilled water, which i later learned is a no no on that iron.
it is a wonderful iron, and i like the fact i can use the water from our r/o instead of any special type water.
it does go thru a lot a water with the steam features, but that should be expected.
never before have i used all of the water in an iron during one pressing session.
there is no leaky water.
the removable water tank is just not convenient, but highly efficient when using hard water.
it has a removable water reserve which makes emptying it very easy.
has a removable water tank which makes it easier to fill without making a mess.
this panasonic is really wonderful, lots fo steam, light weight, i love the removeable water tank and cord reel and it has a long cord.
the euro pro iron was a bad investment from the start: it needed distilled water and, after i had trouble with it,i learned that the iron had a history of problems that the manufacturer did not
after two days the iron was dripping copious amounts of water, regardless of the settings, and i realized it was defective.
it does take a bit longer to heat up than my last rowenta and i wish you could see the water level, however i'm getting the habit of checking the level when i turn it on.
it only could use a bigger watertank.
i use a clear plastic tube to determine how much water is left before starting to assure i have enough to finish the project.
it is a quality product and the iron; because it is not filled with water, is not heavy and is not burden to iron over a long period of time.
i like this iron but like other customers who reviewed this product, it would be very nice to have a water window.
after pressing the steam button to get it going (no splatters or water drops), it only took a few minutes to iron each shirt.
i filled it with the tap water it recommends, and about 7 minutes later i was billowing steam out of the iron.
i have found it to be just as good as my steam machine iron attachment and it seems to sputter less water.
it produces much more steam than my previous iron and the water well is very easy to fill and reattach.
it heats up very quickly, does a great job ironing , has a detachable water chamber for steam, and no cord to get in the way!
i like that it is light weight, even full of water.
i love this iron - it makes great steam [unless you work as a washer woman who has to press all day] the steam does not run out - it readys very fast and stays hot - you can take it apart and fill it
my wife and i decided to buy a new, nicer, heavier duty iron due to fact previous irons kept leaking water and shorting out at the electric cord.
this one is nice to use although i have to agree with the person who said it has an awkward water filling system.
- awkward water filling.
excellent steam, adequate heat...but what good is that if it's leaving a trail of water right behind it??
cons: filling the water-tank requires having iron in horizontal position with it cool and unplugged.
it irons well; i love the closed water slot; it heats up well; and the steam is perfect for when it is needed.
the rowenta power duo is light, uses tap water, doesn't leak, and really gets the job done!
i do store my iron upright and i put bottled drinking water in it, not distilled water, which is not recommended by rowenta.
i don't have to be afraid of water spots and the tip of this iron allows me to get into small difficult places on a gown.
no water spewing out on fabric.
size, speed, features, tough metal body, availible waterproof case is a blast.
i only use distilled water, i turn the iron on for two minutes before attempting to use the steam function (as the manual advises), and i run about a cup of white vinegar through it about once a year
only drawback, water must be poured in container very slowly, but other than that, i highly recommend this product!
it held enough water to generate about 25-30 minutes worth of steam.
yes, the water runs out a little quickly, but it's mini.
it was an easy set up, filled the steamer with water and a minute later it was ready to go steaming away!
to me it's simple, i didn't want to have to add salt, i wanted a lot of steam, and no hot water spitting.
water well is visible, it's ergonomic, and makes just enough steam to finish three wool suits.
i tried doing one collared shirt and used up the whole water reserve and just ended up soaking the shirt...i should have just given it up and ironed it.
we like the wide mouth on the water tank, which makes it easy to fill and the fact that we can use plain or distilled water.
after heating the water, if the tank is too full or tipped slightly, water spits out on the fabric you are trying to steam, sometimes quite a bit.
it does work well but leaks water but not sure if that was when i tried to use it several times when it was turned off but it happened multiple times.
this iron replaced another b & d iron that i broke the water fill system by dropping from 4 ft high.
2) water leaks while filling the tank..
this iron has a sufficiently large water tank, enough for several days' worth of clothing.
an iron with a non stick sole which is rough like sand, a temperature control which you should not turn to the maximum value in order not to ruin your clothes and (the highlight) an adjustable steam
