this is my second panasonic cordless iron.
i had an early-model panasonic cordless iron for many years and it was the best iron i ever had.
it is cordless but you keep it on the dock while the dock in plugged in and it heats the iron for you.
i look at all the cordless iron and pick this one because of all the thing it does.
we have never used a cordless iron but we now love it.
with this cordless iron i can turn corners, flip it around, do the arms on my shirt, collars, etc.
you can't beat the cordless & it stays hot the whole time i iron.
it is light-weight and easy to use.

i purchased this panasonic iron because i have a panaasonic cordless iron.
it's not exactly light weight, hence this could be its main con; however, i personally like substantial irons, kind of getting a feeling of heaviness while ironing.
and it is not cordless.
