haven't had to iron much since i purchased it but my clothes comes out pressed really nicely when i did use it.
but the steam from this is far superior- doesn't leak and it is so light that it isn't as hard a chore, in fact i don't mind having to iron at all.
i do not enjoy ironing, but i must say it is easier now.i really like the enclosed reservoir for the steam(water doesn't spill out when iron is turned over)and the choice of bottom steam vs spray in
it's just a great, everyday iron with a good weight and feel to it, is easy to fill and empty, has an incredible steam output, and a super-slick soleplate.
i haven't used this iron much yet, but it is easy to fill, has a larger capacity "tank" for water, and gives plenty of steam.
really a good iron, the steam is very powerful, have not seen like it before.i usually never write a review, but here u go as i like the product.
if you have ever wanted an iron that can shoot a steam blast 10 feet away from you then this is your product.
needless to say i love my new black & decker d2030.it presses dry as well as steam to a satisfacion i didn't know i had been missing!i would highly recommend this iron to anyone who wants ironing to
the iron creates massive amounts of steam, and it presses even the most wrinkled jeans in one pass.
it is a wee bit heavier than my former iron, but: it heats up unbelievably quickly, the glide is so smooth that it almost travels by itself, and the spray function and the steam are fabulous.
pros: great steam cons: heavy, pricey, might work for awhile might not.
pros: soleplate with few steam holes glides well and doesn't grab buttons.
the steam can be used with the iron in a vertical position (for steam-pressing a garment).
the thing i like the most is the steam generator!
the reliable iron has a separate chamber and heat source for the water that generates the steam.
this is truly a professional quality iron as it actually irons and presses even the thickest of materials (such as heavy denim) in half the time it would take an ordinary steam iron.
i was spoiled on my t-fall iron, but the steamer on it went out within 6 months but since it was a heavy weight iron i held onto it for 10 years.
don't worry about the extra weight of this iron, with all its steam vents, it literally guilds over the fabric.
it is a robust, sturdy iron that puts out alot of steam; ironing seem to get done a lot quicker.
great iron with tons of steam but it was just a bit too wide to store in my drop down ironing board set inside my wall!
it gives off lots of steam if needed and the temperature remains constant.
i do a lot of ironing, & i need an iron that is powerful & puts out a lot of steam.
the steam button really makes a nice crease instantly.
lots of steam, extremely fast, you don't need to go over and over the fabric to get tough wrinkles out.
compared to the earlier model, the newer 155 model can produce lots more steam that breezes through wrinkles and sets pleats.
i feel like i'm having to press down hard on it to get rid of deep wrinkles in some fabrics.
i like to press my shirt and pants before work in the mornings and this iron fills that need with ease.
when i am doing a lot of pressing, i do revert to my corded iron since no cordless can hold heat forever.
as a quilter, i usually work in an assembly line fashion, i piece everything i can, press and then piece again and press so i do not have a problem with the iron cooling down in the middle of my work.
what i have found is one that heats just as quickly, has a stable base that keeps it from toppling off the ironing board, steams clothes, and can be put away in its pretty case even while still hot.
just switch the auto and the clothes comes so pressed and clean.it has a lot of holes for steam to come out .
with the amount of steam that is blasted out of all the small holes it seems to glide over the cloth.
therefore i like an iron that gives even heat, lots of steam and has a sprayer.
if you like steam, you will love this iron.
this one is the best.plenty of steam and does creases in pants in one pass.easiest to fill with water as it has a large inlet.
i found this iron to be very heavy and it doesn't steam as well as i thought it might.
great steaming function.
it works like any great steam iron but better.
steam probably could be better, but for quilting it is fine.
as for features that matter the most for pro ironers like my grandma ;-), it heats up fast and has powerful, continuous, and balanced steam that is strong enough for my toughest and stiffest stuff
this is a high quality iron at a very affordable price.the steam feature works great, it is slighty heavy but it glides so nice it makes ironing a breeze, i would recommend it to everyone looking for
