if you have ever wanted an iron that can shoot a steam blast 10 feet away from you then this is your product.
needless to say i love my new black & decker d2030.it presses dry as well as steam to a satisfacion i didn't know i had been missing!i would highly recommend this iron to anyone who wants ironing to
the iron creates massive amounts of steam, and it presses even the most wrinkled jeans in one pass.
it is a wee bit heavier than my former iron, but: it heats up unbelievably quickly, the glide is so smooth that it almost travels by itself, and the spray function and the steam are fabulous.
i can't seem to get the sleeve to stay down flat to press, as it bunches up, and eventually had to end up ironing them with my other iron.
the sf-680 was my first experience with a steam press and the product functions as specified and seems to be a very good value.
presses clothes the way it advertises.
makes it fun to press pants.
not only has this press cut down my ironing time, i catch my husband ironing with it.
it produces much more steam than my previous iron and the water well is very easy to fill and reattach.
i have more mobility and it steams very nicely.
also it has a good burst of steam.
it heats up very quickly, does a great job ironing , has a detachable water chamber for steam, and no cord to get in the way!

i had always been interested in the steam generator irons and finally took the plunge this fall--i bought a rowenta pressure iron and steamer, thinking that i couldn't go wrong with a rowenta product.
it's true, you really can iron faster because the steam passes through to the other side.
i like the fact that for my ruffled skirts that come out of the dryer looking like a massive wrinkle, i can quickly steam iron them without having to perfectly flatten all the seams and straighten it
excellent product, better than my rowenta steam system.
pros: great steam cons: heavy, pricey, might work for awhile might not.
pros: soleplate with few steam holes glides well and doesn't grab buttons.
the steam can be used with the iron in a vertical position (for steam-pressing a garment).
the thing i like the most is the steam generator!
the reliable iron has a separate chamber and heat source for the water that generates the steam.
i've used it on all fabrics including sweaters and wool, and everything looks professionally pressed.
not good for pressing neck colars, although it works somewhat in front.
i use that tobi like on tv and let me tell everyone it is a piece of junk all it did it got my clothes wet and got tired of pumping the button to get it to steam.
it takes about two minutes for it to heat up, and one minute to steam a shirt.
it is surely the most powerful travel steamer on the market.
i had heard that these irons with the separate steam generator just let out steam with no drips--they call it "dry" steam.
i am buying one for my sister also, she will be surprised to see that i found the steam iron.
my rowenta steam iron died so i bought this one today, on sale.
i got my new shark steamer two days ago.
it presses jeans like a dream.
the good news is that the spray / shot of steam functions work really well, and can make short work of the wrinkles you make while trying to iron.
the steam is either a very powerful burst, (accessed by a push of the thumb), or nice high volume continuous busts of steam.
more annoyingly, the soft rubber buttons that control heat and steam are extremely difficult to operate.
excellent steam, adequate heat...but what good is that if it's leaving a trail of water right behind it??
great pressing action and just the right heaviness for me.
i really enjoyed the steam feature.
pros: steams, automatic shut-off feature
i didn't know what to expect for a cheap steam iron but it is fantastic.
it also features the steam and spray functions that alot of the pricier irons offer.
thank god most of my husbands shirts didn't need to be ironed always and i am a scientist...noone at the lab really cares if your top is well pressed or not.
because it is heavier, it does not maneuver quickly, but i did not have to apply pressure to the iron and with the combination of the steam and spray; i was able to iron a pair of heavy cotton
it acts as a steamer and iron in one device.
black & decker d6000 all temp digital steam iron, blue
if you're looking for that clean, crisp, professional look on your clothes without having to use a professional steam press, then this black & decker iron is for you!
first of all, let me talk about the steam.
long 12 ft cord, no leaking, variable steams&burst of steam cons: small icons on steam control, no real place to wrap cord around
after many years our rowenta had finally given up it's last breath of steam-ability.
heats up quickly and has several settings for steam strength.
pros: dependable heat control, nice steam supply, auto shut-off cons: the temperature selections switch on handle to close to where who palm is.
summary: my t-fal started leaking water after 1-2 years of moderate use and i was looking for an iron that wasn't going to set me back more than $50.naturally some of the rowenta models have great
this is truly a professional quality iron as it actually irons and presses even the thickest of materials (such as heavy denim) in half the time it would take an ordinary steam iron.
i was spoiled on my t-fall iron, but the steamer on it went out within 6 months but since it was a heavy weight iron i held onto it for 10 years.
don't worry about the extra weight of this iron, with all its steam vents, it literally guilds over the fabric.
it is a robust, sturdy iron that puts out alot of steam; ironing seem to get done a lot quicker.
great iron with tons of steam but it was just a bit too wide to store in my drop down ironing board set inside my wall!
who knows, but this thing puts out the steam, and it's just so easy to iron stuff.
it heats up very quickly with its 1700w of power, and this makes a big difference when you have to use the pro steam feature.
the only way to get steam is to press the pro steam button, which is only a little triangle of steam, and who wants to do that the entire time.
this iron produces no steam, even on the high steam setting.
and then a few days ago the steam burst stopped altogether as well.
