really a good iron, the steam is very powerful, have not seen like it before.i usually never write a review, but here u go as i like the product.
this iron cost less than half as much as the rowenta it replaces and is a far superior product.
if you have ever wanted an iron that can shoot a steam blast 10 feet away from you then this is your product.
she says it is a little heavy, but that is a small price to pay for a product this good.
i would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a reasonable priced iron that will not break down fast like others that i have owned.
for a 1200watt iron it produced a lot of steam even without pushing the burst of steam button.
i think they may have increased the size of the reel housing to do this but i did not even notice this till i went to put it away and noticed that it was a bit taller than my last iron.
the base of the iron is not too heavy (as it looks)and stands on the base really well.
works great, heats up fast and has several steam functions and what i like best is it has the retractable cord.
i purchased this panasonic steam iron with retractable cord in april after struggling with a couple of "lighter" irons.
i found this iron to be very heavy and it doesn't steam as well as i thought it might.
great steaming function.
it works like any great steam iron but better.
i was disappointed in my rowenta iron i got at costco, it didn't really perform that well as the reputation says..so oliso has my vote now.
steam probably could be better, but for quilting it is fine.
delonghi stiromeglio compact pro 300 ironing system with pressurized boilerjust got my iron and it is marvelous!
i had always been interested in the steam generator irons and finally took the plunge this fall--i bought a rowenta pressure iron and steamer, thinking that i couldn't go wrong with a rowenta product.
it's true, you really can iron faster because the steam passes through to the other side.
i like the fact that for my ruffled skirts that come out of the dryer looking like a massive wrinkle, i can quickly steam iron them without having to perfectly flatten all the seams and straighten it
i have used rowenta steam generator irons in sewing classes, but i prefer the delonghi iron to those, it has much more the weight, feel and look of a commercial iron.
large and long bursts of steam cons: cord isn't long enough.
it presses better than my old iron.
the added cost is worth the finished product.
i was searching for an iron that would press my seams on my art quilts effortlessly.
it steams better than the classic, and it has steam bursts which i've always wanted so i really like that aspect.
the rowenta focus iron, has not dripped and its easy to read signal lights lets me know when it is safe to use.
just switch the auto and the clothes comes so pressed and clean.it has a lot of holes for steam to come out .
with the amount of steam that is blasted out of all the small holes it seems to glide over the cloth.
therefore i like an iron that gives even heat, lots of steam and has a sprayer.
if you like steam, you will love this iron.
this iron is on the high end of the price chart, but it is worth it.
the water tank is a little small for this type of iron, you'll need to fill it up everyday (although we do use it 2-3 times in the mornings).it's a great iron that performs exactly as expected!
this iron cuts down ironing time significantly, it goes through the heavy cottons and linen items with the greatest of ease.
for those of you, like me, that wondered why on earth does an iron cost $129.00?
it's obvious of the quality of this product, very stout, quite heavy and should last.
yes you have to put the iron down on the charging base to keep it hot but that's a small price to pay for not having to deal with the cord.
the convenience of not having the cord in the way far outweighs any limitations this iron may have, such as the small water capacity or the fact that it cannot reheat itself while you are ironing.
the iron light will say off when to turn off, with the other irons you can tell if it off until you go to use it.
the iron is also heavier like the old ones use to be which is a good thing because you don't have to push down on it.
& we always ended up dropping them which shortnened the life of the iron--if you're willing to spend a little more for an iron this is a great choice-not too heavy--nice color-stable-recommend it
this iron has a wonderful shot of steam feature and it presses without any effort.
this iron creates a lot of steam, which i like because it easily gets all wrinkles out, even on very creased clothes that you left in the dryer much too long.
i have used this steam iron for about 2 weeks now , and loving eveery minute of it .
i had a lot of steam coming when i need it.:-) i had a rowenta dx1900 effective cord reel iron for the last year and i hated it.
overall, it gives good steam and doesn't spit and leak all over my clothes like our old rowenta iron had done from day one.
great product--travels well and use it at home nearly every day.
for its small size and price i'm fairly satisfied with this steamer, but don't expect it to replace your iron.
everyone that travels needs this product.
firstly, smallappliances.com provides a much better price on this product than amazon.
it is surely the most powerful travel steamer on the market.
the best thing though is the size of the camera itself and it's screen.
i love this travel iron (dry or steam) it is light and easy to use.
pros: size, speed, features, tough metal body, availible waterproof case is a blast.
pros: fast start up, easy to use, large view screen, and compact cons: pictures pretty poor when digital zoom is heavily employed this is one great camera.
Heats quickly and eliminates the wrinkles in a jiffy.
price grabber was really great in helping me locate the best price for this product.
expensive to buy.
i can't seem to get the sleeve to stay down flat to press, as it bunches up, and eventually had to end up ironing them with my other iron.
the sf-680 was my first experience with a steam press and the product functions as specified and seems to be a very good value.
presses clothes the way it advertises.
otherwise at the price i brought it for this iron is perfect.
good price on a nice iron.
i know you may think it is expensive, but the quality that you get is absolutely wonderful.
good quality iron for the price strengths: burst of steam.
this iron is excellent for working with small pieces.
this is a high quality iron at a very affordable price.the steam feature works great, it is slighty heavy but it glides so nice it makes ironing a breeze, i would recommend it to everyone looking for
best iron i have ever used strengths: powerful steam function, digital, stainless steel plate, time saving weaknesses: heavy summary: this iron is magical.removes wrinkles in one time,so it
strengths: heavy weight (great for professional-like ironing), solid construction, great steam blast, decent price, comfortable grip weaknesses: none summary: i've used this iron for several
the bottom line: the iron works as it should, includes all the features i can think of, and isn't expensive.
got it on sale and then at about a year old, it stopped steaming.
the iron is light yet the clothes look like they were professional ironed.
i've always been frustrated that regular irons, at any price, don't give me enough steam.?
review: rowenta has emerged as a major player in the small appliance market.
it is a quality product and the iron; because it is not filled with water, is not heavy and is not burden to iron over a long period of time.
leftover water does sometimes collect in the hose but all you have to do to prevent spitting, is after the iron heats up, hold it in the air and press the steam trigger.
it looks big but it is not heavy and very easy to use!
my quilter wife pressed some pieces of material that had been folded since the iron age.
spudman raves about the powerful steam and the awesome ability of this iron to make wrinkles disappear.
it kept flipping from where i set it (at level 6, cotton, with steam) to level 1.
my rowenta worked great, got very hot, produced lots of steam, but after the thirst year started leaking and the auto-shut off feature didn't want to turn on the iron.
the steam works great and ironing is much quicker with it...i love it!
i quickly ordered my new rowenta from amazon, at an amazingly reduced price, and actually don't mind ironing now....it is so much easier and quicker!
it's worth it but i found it for the same price at target so a return whould be easier.
it's not one of the most expensive rowenta irons, but it's an excellent value.
kids love this game but it is so easy for it to get lost/misplaced because of its small size.
i think the iron has a good weight to it - heavy enough to help do the pressing for you.
the iron feels balanced and handles well; the boiler needs infrequent refilling, is well-designed, with low-water light, and arial holder to keep steam tubing out of the way.
these reliable products cost a small amount more than the homeowner stuff, but they are in a totally different league.
as a commercial unit, this is both less expensive and more durable than similar consumer steam generator boiler/iron combos.
the i300 is the smaller of reliable's similar units.
design fits in hand well and allows cord to wtap around conveniently..did not need it, but like the dual voltage settings...is a great product; small, easy to use, and works great!
it's great to be able to get steam from such a small and lightweight iron.
this iron is not only small enough to fit neatly in the corner of a suitcase but it is so light it won't add any weight to the luggage.
this is a great travel iron as well as a home touch up iron.
this iron has all the features of a full size iron.
