The steam wouldn't work. I returned two irons in an attempt to get one that works. I will return my third today and call it quits with black and decker. from Circuitcity.com My Black and Decker iron works well. It arrived very quickly . from Amazon.com I bought one of these irons 9 months ago, and I immediately threw out all of the warranty and the box. Within 3 months (and I used the iron maybe 3 or 4 times) the handle was cracked and leaking water. This problem was progressive and finally the handle came away from the iron and the buttons at the top of the iron popped off. I will never buy another Black & Decker appliance again. from Amazon.com This is a great iron for someone who just needs a basic iron. No dripping, spray mist feature is good,too. from Amazon.com I purchased this iron a few months ago because I liked the temperature dial location and ease of adjustment. Many irons have the dial beneath the handle which is awkward. from Amazon.com I recently (November '07) purchased a Black and Decker Light 'N Easy iron.
