Pros: Works quickly and effectively Cord reel Auto shut-off Varied steam and heat options Cons: Cord reel occasionally gets stopped up from Shopping.com The cord reel is a great function so you don't have to wrap the cord around the iron. Great red indicator light goes off when the iron is hot. Automatically shuts off after 1 hour. from Target.com I bought this iron about 2 years ago when my 15 year old Black and Decker base model iron stopped heating up. I thought since I had great luck with the brand before, I would try another one. from Amazon.com I bought this as a replacement for an iron I had that was leaking terribly. For the price, you're getting a great clothes iron, and it works really well. I've yet to encounter any problems with it, and it heat's up very quickly and has several different steam options. I haven't had a need for the auto-off, but the retractable cord is more useful than I would have thought. from Amazon.com Oh, how I hated to give up my faithful and trusty Black and Decker iron that I have used for the past 15 years or so...but we parted after my little iron was starting to wear out.
