I own a longarm quilting business and make quilts. I use my iron a lot. My first Rowenta 6650 iron I purchased in February 18, 2008. It started leaking out of the bottom of the iron. from Amazon.com I purchased this iron approximately 3 years ago, because I value a quality iron. After using it, there is no question in my mind that Rowenta makes a very effective iron product. The problem is that it only lasted 3 years . from Amazon.com I've looked a very long time for a good, heavier-weight iron with NO auto-shutoff.
