It stopped producing steam. More than likely my fault by not maintaining it properly. I read the reviews on the Sunbeam 4238 and thought I would save some money and give it a try. That was a HUGE mistake. from Amazon.com Don't buy the Sunbeam 4238!!!!!! After using a Philips steam iron for 12 years, we decided to try this as it had good reviews. from Amazon.com I remember by heart the name and decide to buy one. Then I searched online and find this iron is the best (value/price). And it happened to be sunbeam that I used at the hotel!
