I bought this USB skype phone to be able to call from any laptop / notebook when I'm not at home and I'm very satisfied.

When I call them, there is no difference on this phone, than when I call them from a land line or my cell phone.

Might as well buy a headset if you got a free audio/mic input in your computer and you don't need your telephone to ring on incoming calls.

Otherwise, the sound quality does make up for it all, and I've had hardly any problems with distorted calls, even with my crappy internet.
