The biggest problem is no vista drivers. This seemed like a great deal, but after trying to install it, there was an error fm1083 failure. Basically after checking around and contacting Actiontec, it turns out that there are no Vista drivers. I contactedActiontec, and they gave a prompt response 'We have not been given a time line for the release of Vista drivers for the product. from Circuitcity.com The chatterbox is extremely easy to use. Installation on my Windows 2000 PC could not have been simpler. from Circuitcity.com Cons: This WILL NOT install in Vista. Despite the sales hype about an "easy, plug and play without drivers"-type install, they NOWHERE divulge that this is useless with the standard OS that has been shipped with most new PCs for the past half year. Only one obscure post in the VoSKY.com forum admits that it will likely never be able to work under Vista. For quality Skype conversation a headset or handset is best. from Amazon.com It definitely works and was easy to set up but my major problem was that the voice coming out was very tinny and it also was difficult to get it loud enough to properly hear over any background noise (including quite typing).
