I bought this phone in May at Amazon. The battery dies after 4 months and Panasonic does not warranty battery. The list price of the battery (Part number: CGA-P001) is over $75 at Panasonic website. from Amazon.com Excellent conectivity and performance, but very bad battery life. I buyed a new expensive battery from panasonic, in the hope that I solve the problem. But battery life is still only 14 hours in stand by. from Amazon.com I originally bought this SKYPE phone system to work with when I travel, but I decided to try it out first in my home office. The build quality is what you'd expect from Panasonic; system setup is easy; the sound quality is excellent. Although I still have my land line, I very rarely use it for making phone calls....it's just a fax line now & I've dropped my second fax only line. from Amazon.com This can cut your cell bill down by 30% a year. I think this is the first of a new generation of WiFi Skype phones. Panasonic did a nice job.
