Summary: The Cisco IP phone 7940 series is a reliable asset to any organization that has moved into the VoIP arena. The 7940 series is a middle end phone provided by Cisco Systems that is not restrictive such as the 7912 and has most of the features that a 7960 or above Cisco phone totes. from Thenerds.net The Bottom Line: Avoid this phone like the plague.
