I bought this product because of the reviews and recommendation from Tiger staff, but it was a big disappointment for me. I bought this to watch internet movies on my big screen, and it was horrible, even with the highest resolution. I returned it the same day to exchange for a graphic card with an S video out. I definitely would not recommend this for a little older big screen TV's. from Tigerdirect.com I use it to display my laptop screen on a CRT television. As expected the CRT display is a little grainy, but overall the picture is very good. I am 100% satisified. I did get a 6 foot video cable (two male connectors at each end), and that made it much easier to connect to the TV. from Compusa.com This is the second PCTOTV I bought from KWorld. The first one is the rectangle white device. from Compusa.com I purchased a KWorld SA235 PC to TV from another web vendor. It produced no video output from composite or s-video outputs, and bright, blurry, and left shifted video from the vga output. from Amazon.com Pros: As claimed, takes a VGA input and sends out an NTSC output. Also has a bypass VGA output which allows you to connect both a TV and a monitor to the device at the same time. Wish I knew this earlier - I wouldn't have bought a VGA splitter which is unnecessary :P Cons: Its resolution is horrible. from Newegg.com Pros: Works well on most TVs. Has many adjustability options and multiple supported resolutions Cons: For 2 of the 3 TVs I hooked it too it was all black and white (grey). from Newegg.com There are many videos on the web that restrict the recording or timeshifting of movies/videos. This box bypasses all this to create a signal that allows you to take your VGA cable out of your PC, hook into box via S-Video input and gives you a choice of rca plug video out or S-Video out to TV or recorder of choice. Love it!! from Amazon.com Web surfing is also a no go. Too blurry. I bought this in hopes that I could use the old laptop to view dvd video and surf the web from my tv (older crt style) but it just isn't a clear enough picture for web surfing. The instructions are sparse but says if picture is blurry use S-Video. from Amazon.com Cons: Doesn't provide a cable or adapter for DVI. But these are readily available. Other Thoughts: This is a great product if you are reasonable about the size of the TV you are taking your VGA signal to. If you get greedy and try this on a large TV, of course you'll be dissapointed with the results. from Newegg.com Pros: Does what it says, takes your VGA, spits out S-Vid or Composite for older TVs.
