Steven Raichlen's three seminal grilling cookbooks (How to Grill, Barbecue Bible and BBQ USA) are, far and away, the dirtiest, rattiest, most falling-apart cookbooks on my shelf. I think about buying new copies, but then I'd have to spend hours copying all of my margin notes on the recipes.
I like the Steven Raichlen Rib rack very well. It will allow me to smoke 4 racks of pork spare ribs on my big green egg without any problem.
as for cleanup, i get good results by running mine through the diswasher...although it should be no secret that anything used in smoke cooking is unlikely to be perfectly clean ever again.
the wire was all coated with a non-stick layer which i knew right away would be a beast to clean - but it's what he wanted!
semi easy cleanup, the products coating cleans easy but there are a lot of surface areas when you come down to it.
very nice rack, it's well made and serves its purpose.
it is a heavy duty rack and easily handles even some of the larger pork spareribs i have smoked.
it is well made and strong making it easy to move about even completely full.
it is very sturdy, unlike the ones you get at home depot, and made it easy to move them around.
very hard to clean even though it is non-stick.
