you can't set a regular temperature, but you get used to using the tiny dial. from Amazon.com however, the handle is really not easy to remove. from Amazon.com very cheaply made. from Amazon.com i found that while the skillet does work, it is awkward to adjust temperature setting and the removable handle is not easy to work with. from Amazon.com still, at the price, it's a very useful little tool for small, quick jobs like caramelizing a few onions for a dish that doesn't otherwise require frying, scrambling up an egg for a snack, reheating from Amazon.com I am very satisfied with my grill.
