have only used it once so far but it heated well and evenly, the temp control helped to maintain a high but not burning level of heat. from Cooking.com the grill heats evenly and to a very hot temperature so that food cooks quickly. from Amazon.com the top grilling surface is hard to clean, be sure to have a little non-stick cooking spray or olive oil on hand ahead of time to help. from Amazon.com also, the cleanup is very difficult. from Amazon.com easy to clean, and the coating does not come off. from Amazon.com i really want to rate this in two categories: function and overall build quality. from Amazon.com haven't noticed any frailty in the food trays, but i will definitely be taking it easy with the grilling top surface. from Amazon.com the top surface is easy to clean (removes from the base) from Amazon.com the grill top is removeable, which makes it easy pop off and get into the sink, however i've noticed that some food stains the surface, and it can take a bit of scrubbing to remove. from Amazon.com Have only used it once so far but it heated well and evenly, the temp control helped to maintain a high but not burning level of heat.
