Best Ice Cream Makers for Churn

i've been able to churn out a number of recipes already.

some recipes have to churn longer than others but for me thats no problem.

it churns out soft ice cream in about 25 minutes.

the machine works by spinning the entire tub, and the ice cream is churned by the plastic mixing thingy which does not move, kinda a strange design but it works.

many ice cream churns don't quite finish the churning process before the ice cream is finished, but this one stops when the ice cream is fully complete.

the container the ice cream churns in is adequate to store in the freezer when the ice cream is done.

this definitely harkens back to sitting on my grandmothers back porch with the hand crank churner (thank goodness this one plugs in!!).

if it doesn't, there is no churning action since everything moves together, instead of the canister moving and the dasher remaining stationary.

if you have a power outage or remove the churn motor assembly while running, the refrigeration will shut off.

unfortunately, the churn motor arrived with broken plastic.

the build quality is solid and it runs quit quiet considering the fact that there is a compressor running while it churns.

the only complaint i have is that the mixer only has one speed so that you can't use slower churning to avoid ice crystals when using lower-fat dairy.
