Best Ice Cream Makers for Hard Ice Cream

If you want hard ice cream like you get at the store you'll have to refreeze your batch - it comes out pretty soft folks...

I agree with most people's response to this maker in that one must freeze container to the ultimate before use, and still, it sometimes does not make hard ice cream, but hard enough for my taste.

But the ice cream freezes well too if you prefer the hard ice cream.

I have made homemade Ice cream many times and with this and my Ben and Jerry's cook but I can for the first time make real hard Ice Cream as if I bought it directly from the store.

Lastly, this machine (or any other for that matter) will NOT give you hard ice-cream like you find in the freezer section of your local grocery store; it will be soft-serve like the stuff from Dairy Queen.

The texture and overun it's up to the standard.Don't expect to come out as HARD ice cream.
