larger size is great, first time out with it i made green tea ice cream (a hard find at the stores) and it came out perfect - i used a restaurant recipe for a large quanity and it made it perfect -

if you have a normal sized fridge, this will be just fine as if you put in a 5 quart pail of ice cream, this container is smaller than that, and it should not be a problem for anyone.
