foot apt., and a honeywell warm mist humidifier (no fan --- i sleep with it next to my bed) for my bedroom at night.
this humidifier does work very well in the sense it does what is advertised but it is not as whisper quiet as some of the other reviews lead on.
we have used this honeywell humidifier extensively since our purchase and have found it to be very efficient, selectivly quiet, easy to adjust the settings as desired, and easy to keep clean.
it's much easier than filling the old console humidifier we had and it is much smaller and quieter.
little bit noisy on high speed other wise a very good product.
we purchased this humidifier for our twin boys bedroom and it has worked flawlessly for 6 months.
it is also the quietest i tried, which is important to me because i use it in a bedroom.unlike another reviewer, my local store had replacement filters in stock.
it also holds quite a bit of water and isn't too noisy when you've reached equilibrium.
it's a little noisey though.
i found it easy to fill, relatively quiet, and it's attractive enough in appearance that most people don't even know it's there.
it is quiet and does a good job.
it does a great job of keeping the air breathable, and thus keeps my associated allergies at bay, but it's also so quiet that i can't even tell it's on unless i put my hand over the inlets/outlets to
no, it is not the quietest humidifier on the block, but its no worse than a box fan in the window in the summer.
it is on the noisy side but it does put moisture in the air.
i can't sleep at all with it.
it makes loud noises and after 4 days its says the filter needs to be changed!
on high it sounded like a snow blower at a ski resort.
it has a mind of its own and it's very noisy at the highest setting.
now the fan makes noise like it's out of balance.
unfortunately it is very noisy even on the lowest setting.
the only reason we still have it is because we have a small house and the sound from the fan helps keep my baby from waking up to other noises in the house.
also, the unit is noisey and the construction is cheap.
it is possible i feel it's loud because i have it set up in my bedroom.
but i'm not bothered much by it, because (after having lived for years it noisy san francisco) i can handle white noise and even find it comforting.
it is fairly quiet and doesn't leave that white dust on everything.
the only down side is the "noise" from the fan and the waterfall sound (the waterfall feature shown on the right side of the picture.) i like the sound of the water, however, this running waterfall
pros: relatively quiet cons: sprays water
we now sleep much better with the humidifier running.
it is easy to set up and as quiet as i would expect anything with an "open" fan to be.you will need a deeper kitchen sink to fill it, but nothing i wouldn't expect to see in any home.
i keep it right next to my bed and it is very quiet and easy to use.
it easily maintains a desired level of humidity in the 1,000-square-foot upper floor of my home, and the noise level is very tolerable.
its quiet, does just what it is suppose to do.
it is so soft sounding, you do not even know it is in the room.
all in all the humidifier has a sleek design and i love the blue color as it is soothing and makes very little noise - infact the minium noise that is heard is soothing and puts me to sleep.
it turns itself off (the humidifier turns off, but the fan stays on - it's pretty quiet) when the water gets too low.
very good product of hnmihifier: easy use, quiet-no noise, and good looking.
the unit is whisper-quiet other than a slight sound due to water moving through the unit - but it's a calming noise, rather than an annoying one.
it is a lovely compact, quiet humidifier.
our bedroom is about 12x14 and it quickly became the warmest room in the house thanks to the warm moisture.
-- the tank lasts a good 7-8 hours at the high level so i turn it on before i go to sleep and don't have to wake up and refill in the middle of the night.
it works well, is very quiet which is important as we use it in a bedroom.
the library quietness makes it all the better.
it makes very little noise, almost imperceptable.
it is fairly quite but you get used to the noise and we do not even hear it running any more.
this also means that it is somewhat noisy.
i had a cheap humidifier which worked ok but was a bit noisy and small for my room, so i bought this one with the hope for better performance.
otherwise, it humdiifies the air nicely, and is somewhat quieter than my older model humidifier.
auto mode is useless because the unit cycles on and off every 3 or 4 seconds when the humdity set point is reached (try sleeping with that going on!).
